pocono bean: Pocono Lake
For our second Meeting Our Neighbors, we meet Stephanie, the owner of Pocono Bean, a new community gathering spot in Pocono Lake where good coffee and good company come together. With coffee brewed from beans roasted locally and fresh pastries to enjoy, Pocono Bean was created to be more than just a place to grab a cup of coffee. The idea grew from Stephanie’s own family, including her daughter with special needs, who loves spending time there.

Galen grew up right here in the Poconos, but after spending years away, he came back home with his family and a dream of becoming an entrepreneur. He chose winemaking and found a pretty cool little spot in the basement of a renovated Poconos landmark. But along the way, he found something he probably didn’t expect—a community. People loved having a unique place where they could come together, hang out, enjoy a glass of wine, and just be neighbors.
